The Duke’s Gates project supported the 18th Belgrade Dance Festival, an event which significantly contributes to the development of culture and art in Serbia, gathering the best international artists and contributing to the popularization of our country around the world. Nurturing culture and tradition is equally as important as nurturing family values, the culture of apartment living and good neighbourly relations, because all these values enrich our lives. After the spring part of the 18th Belgrade Dance Festival, which took place in March and April, when we saw dancing troupes from New York, Geneva, Tel Aviv, Ancona, Brussels, Catania and Athens, the autumn part of the program commenced. From September 8 to October 12, the audiences in Belgrade and Novi Sad will be able to enjoy the performances of 6 excellent troupes from Lyon, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Mainz, Barcelona and London. This is not the first time that the project's investor, Shikun & Binui Group, recognized the importance of supporting and investing in culture, theatre and film. Five years ago, the investor supported the construction of a new film city in Baranda, for the needs of shooting the popular and highly watched TV show "Shadows over Balkans”.
